Back to Florida!!!

So what could be better than finding that I have a SPOT of wi-fi coverage and it happens to be in the bedroom that overlooks the marina, with the palm trees waving at me and the morning sun streaming in with the sliding glass windows that slide ALL the way open so that I get the breeze off the water and can even hear the fish jumping???  Well, maybe the only thing that tops that is the $21 sunset cruise that Karissa and I took last night.  For $21 we may have to take it again!!!  Or maybe the best part was spraying myself with 70 spf so as not to fry completely and baking in the sun with Paige, getting in the water long enough to cool off now and then, sitting for hours under an umbrella brought down just for us.  Or maybe it was laying by the ocean looking at the stars with Karissa and telling her about the mysterious and wonderful nature of sex, the best part being, she didn't freak out!  :)  Well maybe we both did a little.  But here is a plug for the book, Preparing your daughter for every woman's battle, it is wonderful!!  If you have a daughter between 9 and 16, I think you should get the book.  Anyway, it covers soooo much more than the birds and the bees!!  The examples are perfect, and the tone is just right.  Maybe the really best part of the week so far has been all the letters that people who love Karissa have written to her. We have read each one and then we got a keepsake album and are filling the book with the letters and when we get home, we will add pictures of all these wonderful people who have expressed such a love for her.  Already she feels os loved by them.  If you haven't written a note to her, she would love to add you to her book.  I imagine that it will remind her for years to come of how much she is treasured.

Have I mentioned how much I love FL??  oh yeah, I think that has come up here on this blog before.  :)  I have decided that it has alot to do with the vastness of the ocean.  There is something in seeing the wide expanse that makes me feel unclostrophobic.  I can breathe!  I can look for hours at a time and not feel crowded.  My life is a bit crowded.  Crowded is okay, but this is why I love FL. I can uncrowd my mind.

I have also been enjoying some memory inducing pictures from my childhood that have been posted on FB.  I am wondering if it is soon time for a reunion??  We'll see.

I know that when I get back home I will be hitting the ground running, but my mind is studiously avoiding the topic every time I start thinking about how to schedule school for the 5 kids I am homeschooling, lesson plans and curriculums, getting Jared off to College, etc.  But every once in awhile, it creeps in. . .but that is not what I am here for!!  SO, bye stress!!  I am chillin' one more day!!  :)

So one more thought, I am thinking about a business/ product line that practically sells itself called, "IT Works"  think instant weight reduction and stress reduction.  One of the products is an herbal wrap that you can put on any place you wish to reduce.  after a minimum of 45 min, you will see a smaller you.  Okay so at first I was extremely skeptical, BUT I have done it twice on my arms, you know the large flabby part, and I have already lost and kept off 2 (two) inches off both of them.  At this rate by Thanksgiving I will be down to the meat and bone!!  :)  Paige has been doing it on her waist, and she has one now, yes, she does!!  She bought two new swimsuits while she was here because for the first time in years she felt skinny!!  That kind of stuff messes with your head!!  Even the skeptics will try it once!! :)

Well, nothing profound here, just a wonderful week, I had to tell you about.  Oh, if you think I might have spent a ridiculous amount of money on this week, let me tell you about Spirit airlines!!  Both Karissa and I, RT, Ft Myers, $98.00!!!  The condo we are in is part of Paige's deal so we spent $96 on that for the week.  Kitchen is included so we bought food, and went out three times. AWESOMENESS!!
